Scents With A Story

Addy the Artisan began in a quiet moment of new motherhood. In the soft hours between feeds and naptime, where love and instinct guided every choice.
As a first-time mum, I wanted something gentle and nourishing for my daughter’s delicate skin. I searched for a way to make traditional milk soap, but felt limited by the countless melt-and-pour kits on the market. It was difficult finding a kit that embraced the art of handmade soap while still providing the quality, safety, and preservation of store-bought products. 

In an attempt to remedy this, I spent months crafting a cold process soap-making kit for personal use. These kits are compatible with a wide range of nourishing ingredients such as milk, herbs, and essential oils.

Later on, It was time to step things up. It was no longer enough to make quality handmade soaps, not when there was so much potential for where this hobby could be taken. Along the way, perfume became my language, a way to tell stories through the skin. I began blending luxurious, layered scents that bridged the gap for those who lacked the time and money for luxurious scents. These carefully crafted scents are now implemented in the Addy the Artisans lotions, soap and soap making kits, making scent an engrained part of our daily bath rituals.
